The old Jaguar controller gets a bad rap. Sure, it's not the most graceful-looking controller and some of its design concept was a holdover from an era of long-gone gaming, but overall it's a comfortable and highly functional controller. It's relatively light, despite its size, the buttons are responsive, and that keypad actually comes in handy in a handful of games (especially if you have the old-school overlay to put over it). There are better controllers out there, but there are also far worse. The Jaguar controller in no way deserves to be included among all of the "Worst Controllers Ever" lists that it keeps appearing in, which I'm willing to bet are all-too-often authored by Johnny-come-latelies who've never actually held one.
